Nataliia’s practice covers the development of strategies for protecting the intellectual property of businesses, startups, support for the trademarks registration and designs, the patenting of inventions and utility models in the Ukrainian IP office and in the IP offices of other countries, the counterfeiting, violation of rights on the Internet, etc. Nataliia has developed a unique methodology for testing startup ideas for success and profit and actively applies it in practice.

Recognition of the trademark as well-known in Ukraine by the Chamber of Appeals of the Ukrainian IP offices. Nataliia represented the interests of the applicant and was fully involved in organizing the preparation of all the necessary evidence.

Full legal support for the creation and operation of an innovative business in the UK jurisdiction. I checked the startup idea for possible analogues, and also, at the request of the investor, assessed the potential for the possible development of the startup. Accompanied the process of patenting and registration of other intellectual property of a startup in IP offices necessary for the protection of countries. Helped with registering a legal entity, choosing a tax regime, opening a bank account, and connecting an acquiring payment system. In addition, Nataliia Riazanova advised on business structuring and attracting investments, prepared documents on the protection of personal data and trade secrets for this business.

Prepared the terms of smart contracts for the release of a unique NFT collection that ensure copyright protection and receipt of royalties from each sale/resale of NFTs. Registered a trademark for the name of the collection in the necessary countries.

Defended the rights to a domain name in the Chamber for Domain Disputes of the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Identified violators on OpenSea, achieved removal of the violator’s content and compensation to the author for violations of rights to NFTs on the OpenSea platform.
